DOC MARTENS
For my University assignments I created a multi-media campaign for Doc Martens.
For many women it’s not as simple as going out and having fun without concerns. Danger can be found everywhere, and in a terrifying world filled with danger around every corner, confidence and preparation are our best tools for self-preservation. Thinking ahead and having a contingency plan in case the worst occurs is an excellent strategy for enjoying life without having to make sacrifices.
This campaign aims to empower women by giving them that contingency plan without sacrificing their style.
PROBLEM
Women don’t feel safe traveling alone at night due to fear of harassment, violence and crime.
INSIGHT
Up to 70% of women in the UK take measures to protect themselves against harassment, with items like self-defence alarms/rings.
SOLUTION
Self-defence without
compromising style.
